Are you feeling overwhelmed by your dogs behaviour? Let us help you!
Don't worry if they have, it is totally normal!
Here at Train Up Pup we know what it's like to own a dog. How frustrating, overwhelming and lonely it can be.
But the reality is dogs are designed to rebel. Which is why we designed Rebel Paws Club.
To help first time dog owners like you navigate through that difficult stage and help you feel confident and in control handling all your cheeky rebel throws your way.
When in outdoor environments does it often feel like you are completely invisible to your dog? All at once they have gone deaf, forgotten your existence and are daydreaming about all the squirrels they could chase.
Your once cute and cuddly pup has transformed into a rebellious pup. They're testing boundaries, ignoring you, and making questionable decisions.
'Oh look! A Leaf!' Does it feel like the only way to make a connection with your dog, is to adorn a squirrel costume and scale a tree...

Charlie found her love for dog trainer at 17 years old, whilst working in a doggy daycare and seeing first hand the challenges (and joys) dogs can bring. Charlie is currently studying for her degree of Applied Canine Behaviour and Training, whilst simultaneously starting an online membership to help owners navigate the tricky teenage stage!
Charlie decided to start her dog training journey on 'nightmare' mode, with her first dog being a Japanese Shiba Inu, known for their independence and lack of motivation for working with humans. Spyro went through a challenging adolescence period, with spurts of under-confidence and dog reactivity.
Once Charlie concurred the treacherous journey of Spyro's adolescence, she decided to add another member to her team.
Niffler is an Australian Shepherd, who is currently a teenage dirtbag, join the club to see Charlie and Niff tackle adolescence alongside you and your dog!
Tesla has been a dog trainer for 7 years, and early on realised that a 6 week puppy course just wasn’t setting families and their canine companions up for success, so decided to do things differently! She has now been running an in person dog training membership designed to take first time owners from puppyhood all the way through adolescence and beyond. It has been a huge success and now she is excited to take it online to help even more dogs and their humans get the knowledge and support they need throughout their whole journey of raising their dog.
She shares her tiny home with an adorable 7 year old Border Collie, Luna Spoons and a just-graduated-teenagehood Pomeranian, Poppy. Tesla advocates games based, fun training backed by science, as well as building strong relationships with your dog to ensure you enjoy dog ownership to the max.
When you feel you are not making the progress you want with your dog, there are a few things that we hear over and over again.
These are the things that are holding you back from achieving success with your dog, and how Rebel Paws Club can help you overcome them:
Confusion - You don’t know what to train, there are so many things to work on. You just don’t know how to fix it all, its SO overwhelming!
Also there is loads of conflicting advice, you don’t know what is best. The internet is not always your friend.
We have taken all that away, a monthly theme with weekly training exercises, all designed to teach your dog to be calm, listen and get you enjoying your dog again!
Time - We get it, you’re busy! You can’t commit to training for hours everyday, and nor should you have to.
Let me, let you, in on a secret. Training is most successful when it's done in tiny bursts that fit into your day to day life.
All of our training can be done in less than 5 minutes a day.
Consistency - Staying on track and motivated can be really tough. We all start with good intentions and barely a week passes before we are behind.
We will post you a training tracker to stick on your fridge every month, so you can tick off the training as we work through the theme, keep you consistent and on track.
Not only that but we will be there every week to check your homework, support you through struggles and, if necessary, kick you up the bum.
No more excuses.
What are you waiting for?
Fast forward to Rebel Paws and the accountability and he's a completely different dog. He has his mad moments but has come on leaps and bounds and we can take him to cafes and pubs if they're quietish. He's got a way to go re lead skills but is definitely getting there. I'd never have given up on him but life would've been so much harder without you guys to help him become more manageable.
Had to share this HUGE win for us playing ping pong outside the front door. To quote myself in the video, I never ever thought he would do that! Even though it’s night time and quiet, he’s still anxious of the road and the shop which is just 3 houses up from us on the corner and I am super proud and shocked!
We haven’t done it before, as thought this game wouldn’t suit flat face dogs. Needless to say I was wrong. Took Pablo a while to work it out, but he had so much fun doing it He was fully engaged, sniffing intently and doing his best to get to the treats as fast as possible. His tail was wagging most of the time, so it’s safe to say he loved the sniffing challenge)
We understand the struggles you're facing, and we're here to help you overcome them.
